Diego Fonseca is a Creative Director based in New York City
After spending the early years of his career in Brazil, Diego worked as an art director in France, Germany and Sweden before landing in the United States. On what can be described as the world longest scenic route detour.
With a career spanning over twenty years, he has worked in some of the industry’s biggest acronyms such as BBH, DDB and JWT while making sure to occasionally alternate with some non-acronyms like Droga5, Anomaly, Ogilvy and Saatchi & Saatchi.
Diego helped propel Playstation to the most successful gaming device in the world through the Greatness Awaits brand platform. He celebrated vice president Kamala Harris’ groundbreaking achievement with the multi-award-winning Glass Ceiling Breaker campaign. And most recently has been architecting the launch of Adtech's newest player, Amazon Ads to a global market.
His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, Clio, Andy’s, Webbys and Communication Arts. His personal projects have also been published on BRAND Magazine and Victionary’s Special Edition.
Outside of advertising Diego has been steadily flipping through all the millennial hobbies. Currently on the list is learning piano. Becoming fluent in French and patisserie baking are next on his list. If you have any hobby recommendations shoot him a message.
